Yacht-Master Bezel Inlay and Insert

Hello everyone,

I'm coming to you today for some advice on a modification/repair that I am performing. I have a Rolex Yacht-Master with blue dial that I purchased from Andrew. Wonderful watch, by the way, I receive so many complements on it and it runs great. One thing though, that I wanted to improve was the bezel insert. The one it comes with is a bit thick and the bottoms of the numbers touch the bezel itself instead of there being some space between them. I picked up an aftermarket bezel insert and separated the bezel and insert from the watch. The bezel insert is supposed to be glued onto an inlay which is snapped into the bezel ring and placed on the watch. Here is my problem, the stock bezel inlay and insert are bonded using a superglue like substance. I was wondering the best way to get them apart so I can clean and attach the new insert. I am guessing acetone to eat the glue but was wondering if there is an easier way. The watch is the ROLYM062A on Andrew's site if it makes any difference. Is it worth it to try and remove the insert from the inlay or is there a way I can source a new inlay to place the insert on?

Thank you, everyone.
