Newb looking for new AP Offshore

Hi I'm a newbie to the rep area but decided as a everyday watch it's just more practical. Problem is, is that I know there are different quality reps out there and not sure if I should gauge the quality from the price. Also don't know who's a legit dealer or not. I was looking at this specific watch and it seemed that watcheden has the swiss valijous 7750 where other sites are using asia 7750. To me I honestly don't know the difference between the two but going off the fact ones swiss I assume that is the better movement. Has anyone bought this watch or from this vendor to know if its a good buy? Thanks in advance!

Most things labeled as swiss are not. A swiss 7750 movement is pretty expensive on its own, expect to pay $500 just for the movement. And the fact that the rep APROO has a module built on top of the movement to move the seconds@9 to the seconds@12 would make paying that extra not worth it.  Stick to dealers on this site and you should be fine. Please note the leather straps you get on most reps are absolutely crap.

which TD do you recommend for APs? Don't see Toro bravo as a trusted dealer under links. Would you recommend this dealer for APs?

I am also looking for my first rep AP royal oak and reside in Southern Asia.
