dusk
My father gave me a watch a number of years ago. Watch was given to him by an Arab Royal during the opening ceremonies of a new luxury hotel in Bahrain. Notice the crest on the back plate. He was the chief engineer on the construction for the hotel. I have had the watch verified by Eterna and they sold these for 1,890 Swiss franks back when it was made in 1991 not that that is important to me as I won't be selling it. They have little info on the watch which suggests it was a limited run or quite rare. My dad, being an engineer lost the box and the watch sat in a pot of screws and nails etc for many years before giving it to me hence the far from perfect finish!. :-/ Should I get it polished up when I have it serviced or does the ageing give it character? Now for pics. I took these in 2010 and the watch is currently "misplaced" due to an imminent house move so I can't give any better ones.
