TmeShare Posted March 27, 2015 Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 I highly doubt any TD is going to admit that the so called "Swiss" movements are of questionable quality. As stated, It is well document on the boards and I would take any "Swiss" claim with a HUGE grain of salt!! Overall the asian movements are getting much more reliable. I can remember a time back say 9 years ago when any Asian 7750 was a ticking time bomb and now they pretty good reliability. Repfreak83 Posted March 27, 2015 Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 There have been so many posts in these forums regarding the situation with reps and Swiss ETA's, that it's hard to imagine anyone visiting here regularly and not being aware of it. Or is it just the paradigm of thinking that a Swiss movement MUST be the better choice, especially since it costs more? Maybe someone should press the TD's for their point of view on these movements and request that until something changes, they refrain from offering them?
