Looks damn nice. The 1887 is one of my all time favorites. However the thickness (16.5mm) and case width (43mm) are a bit much for my wrist, and also $400+ is a bit much for a rep imo (my limit is usually about $350).

The new version of the gray one is also on the site. However I think it still has a huge tell. The background of the Tag Heuer logo is black, and if I remember correctly, it is gray (like the dial) on the gen.

Looks great, they've even tried to mimic a column wheel movement out of the A7750, even an above average watch enthusiast probably couldn't spot that movement as rep.

It depends. Some gen versions of black face models have black logo backgrounds, while others have gray. I've seen both TAG logo background colors on black face ceramic models.
