Noob Questions On Omega Po And Smp Mods

I'm sorry for the noob questions, but I did a search and came up empty. I am the proud new owner of a 42.5mm Omega PO, and I have to say its gorgeous! It's less than a month old, however I noticed recently that the pearl on the bezel had fallen off. I contacted Joshua and he graciously said he'd send me a new bezel insert. My question is how hard is it to replace the bezel insert on this particular watch, and what is the best way to go about it? In addition, I also have a SMP that I've had for a while. I was wondering if anyone replaced the crown successfully with a gen one, as the rep sticks out too far? Thanks in advance, and again sorry for the noob questions!
