Double Tap
I have a 4th Gen Omega 42.5mm PO from Andrew (the watch is sensational!) and I fitted the rubber strap from Joshua on the watch. I clipped off the small metal tip that sticks out of the end and the strap fits well but on the wrist there is a small gap between the rubber and the case. Has anyone experienced this problem and if so, how did you solve the problem?
docblackrock
Those metal nubs were there precisely to prevent this - the 42 Asian PO had corresponding 'docking' holes on the case between the lugs to ensure the strap fit snugly. First point of call would be to see if stronger/thicker springbars help, less 'bend' and they may hold the strap in tighter to the lugs. Other than that, I'm afraid you're looking at redrilling lugholes - only other solution I can think of.
krustybrand
Alternatively, the genuine rubber strap fits perfectly on the 4th gen, but is a bit pricy. You might find one on TZ.
