Assistance Requested: Omega Planet Ocean Bezel Removal KW/V6F

Gentlemen,

We need some help here. I'm in the process of installing a gen bezel on my KW/V6F Omega Planet Ocean but the rep bezel won't come off.

We are using an expensive Omega tool which should have made the removal easier but despite trying enormous strength the bezel won't budge.

Anyone has any pointers on what we are missing? Or has experience removing these bezels?

We would greatly appreciate it

"I've got good news and not so good news. I finally got the bezel off of the case. I don't know if this is constructed like the genuine but the rep is built similar to the newer Rolex bezels. There is a gasket that sits on the inside of the bezel that holds it in place.

The not so good news is I don't know if the genuine bezel will work. The first issue is that the genuine bezel doesn't ratchet on the case. The click mechanism isn't in the same place. The genuine bezel has an opening about .1mm larger. Not a huge difference but it doesn't sit as tight on the crystal.

But we got it off!!!!!!"

So any suggestions on what would be the best route?
