Best bang for the buck PO

First post here, thank you for all the info and experience you guys bring to the forum. 

 

I'm wondering if someone can help me determine what would be the best bang for the buck 45.5mm planet ocean. I am neither fixated or opposed to the chronograph version, I can go either way on that. I tried on a gen at an omega store and loved the feel of the watch but can't justify the $8k for a gen right now. 

 

So, question is, who makes a good rep that's not overly pricey for a rep? I know the bottom of the barrel watches are to stay away from, but with so many dealers and versions out there, it's hard to decide.
