herrlehmann
Hi all together and a happy new year. I’m a member since 10/2017. My interest in mechnical watches starts twenty years ago (with age of 27). Six years ago i started to work on my own watches. My dream was a 5513 Submariner from 1971. After reading a lot about vintage Submariners i learned that most of them are not 100% original after a long time. I saw the prices they should cost......wow.... I thought: So much money for a (may be) not 100% original vintage Sub ? That‘s not my way ! I decided to build my own 5513 based on aftermarkert part and some original parts. Now, after i build a few 5513 models my next big project for 2019 is to build a 5513 with original 1530/1560 movement based on an phong case. But now let me show you my own builds. They all are based on Richie cases with Various movement. I only use original ETA movements. 2824, 2846, 2472, 2451 Dials and hands on some of them are vintage lumed by myself. Ok, lets have a look.... Cheers… Edited January 1, 2019 by herrlehmann spelling error
