Nice CG work Vaccum :thumbsupsmileyanim: .

The bezel on those trusty (I assume) 1:1 reps are horribly rough though, that's why I after a lot of work finishing the bezel just decided to replace it with an aftermarket one including a crystal retaining ring (hated the spring thingy concept)

Excellent!

Now then... remember this is a 40-50 years old watch. Try a buffing wheel on the bezel to smooth it, as if it's been lovingly turned and used for decades. See if you can polish between the "teeth" a little. It makes ALL the difference.

Here's a bezel that's been well used, but not ABused:
