The bezel on those trusty (I assume) 1:1 reps are horribly rough though, that's why I after a lot of work finishing the bezel just decided to replace it with an aftermarket one including a crystal retaining ring (hated the spring thingy concept) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Try a buffing wheel on the bezel to smooth it, as if it's been lovingly turned and used for decades. See if you can polish between the "teeth" a little. It makes ALL the difference.
