Planet Ocean bracelets; Are all drilled that tight?

I have mostly worn my Planet Ocean with leather and rubber straps but every so often I like to change back to the original comfortable bracelet. Today was actually my first time fitting the bracelet on this model and man was it difficult to fit those spring bars inside the lug holes? If I didn't know any better they were drilled a little bit too far back so in the end I actually had to use a set of smaller spring bars and bend them back a little bit to make the thing work. Anybody else had this problem on yours? Can I drill a slightly larger hole through the bracelet since that area is fixed?

Yep, I had the same problem. You can get one end of the spring bar in easily but the other is a b*** I used dental floss to pull the spring bar into the lug hole, but it was still a bit of a pain to do! But the end links fits really tight against the case, which is a nice plus.
