How to take a PAM Steel Strap apart ?

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to get an even more matt finish on the matt links of the std. PAM SS.

Has anybody ever had a go on this? I guess I have to unscrew the links but the small screws on the inside of the SS don't move at all and I don't want to damage it.

any ideas?

Cheers, Greeetz

although i never attempted to change the finish of anything, i did switch up two pam bracelets. an all brushed ss one and a titanium and polished ss one. my goal was to create a titanium and brushed ss combo that i could not find, and still don't see anywhere. first of all, it is very important that you have the right size screw drivers as it is easy to strip the heads on the small screws. i removed all of the back screws ... sixty four to be exact and it took me roughly two hours to complete both bracelets. what i ended up with was the titanium and brushed ss of course and a regular polished and brushed ss combo. i certainly wouldn't do it again, it is worth the money to simply purchase the bracelets as is. unless of course you are looking to kill some time and a few brain cells. sorry for the small pictures, but that is all i could find on my computer. all the best.
