the playful eyes Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 (edited) The bracelet doesn't have arrows to indicate which way I should insert my pin extracting needle (home made) into. To make a long story short, I ended up taking out two pins and bent both of them. I was blessed that the pins didnt snap into the links. I've currently suspended my 'project' until I can get ahold of a real tool to do the job. Which way do I insert the extraction needle into the bracelet? (Pictures would be great). Are there replacement pins I can purchase for Andrew's 4th gen PO 42.5mm? Thanks! Edited April 8, 2006 by the playful eyes
OldeCrow Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 um I don't suppose the 4th gen bracelet uses screws now ?
the playful eyes Posted April 9, 2006 Author Report Posted April 9, 2006 Nope, they're not screws. I wish they were, so it would make my life easier.
bigpops Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 I pushed them out from the side where they were indented into the link, but i think you can do them either way. They aren't split pins, they use a tube to secure the pin in place (as do all my Seamaster reps). Nice to see you get a half link too btw.
