Blackrain Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 So I've had my FER002 Tempo for a while, it's Asian 7750b movement is running a good 35 seconds fast a day, and I was thinking of regulating it. I couldn't get my universal ($15) eBay case back opener to quite fit. No go on the duct tape. Anybody know where I can get the proper tool to open this watch so I can admire and adjust the movement? Thanks!
Blackrain Posted April 30, 2007 Author Report Posted April 30, 2007 I finally got it open with some duct tape, so all is well Thank god, because the lack of response makes me think there is no cheap tool out there for the likes of me!
Watchmeister Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I don't know the shape of the caseback on the Ferrari but there are a couple of commonly sold dedicated caseback openers for 44mm and 47mm PAM's. I think Davidsen sells one. I have one coming from Angus which is made of Aluminum so it should minimize scratching, etc. I think they run around $40.00. My standard Bergeon does cap out at about 44mm.
