Santos de Cartier 100 (All Gold)

Improved dial, leather, and clasp!

The Santos de Cartier 100 with butterfly clasp has recently been the biggest "hit" among RWG collectors. The SS model showed that a rugged and masculine looking watch could carry the Cartier label, creating a somewhat new image for Cartier as a brand to be collected. The TT version showed versatility: with the black strap, it looked dressy, with the brown strap, somewhat more casual. Now the all-gold version is available, and with either brown or black strap, it is a large and impressive dress watch!

Mine happens to have a brown band this time. It is heavier than before, and the croc print is more convincing. The gold case is brushed, while the bezel is polished.

From any angle or viewpoint, it is a handsome watch.

While the outer surface of the butterfly clasp is brushed finished, the working parts of the deployant are highly polished.
