Allignment issue

Recommended Posts

Ive had this watch since beginning of March this year and this minor detail didn't bother me too much, but I imagine it's a simple fix what do you guys think? SHould I just take it to local watchsmith have him allign the dial? Is it possible? Could it be something I could do?

If you look at the pic, the entire dial is slightly turned back counterclockwise to make it more evident I have the bezel alligned with the dial. If you look at the end links (top and bottom) you will see the 12 marker and the 6 marker on the bezel not centered with the midddle link of the band

I also notice this issue affecting the movement, since when the crown is pulled out you can see it does not sit parrallel with the case meaning the tube is fine but the stem is also showing the same counterclockwise allignment issue as the dial.

If the crown and stem is similarly misaligned then the dial and movement are correctly aligned with each other but the movement/dial unit is not correctly positioned in the case. I would suggest that you remove the case back, loosen the movement clamps and get it correctly aligned before tightening it properly again. Should be a simple fix.
