Iwc Ing AMG chrono issue

Just got my new AMG chorno, 7750 with 6 o'clock sec running... anyway, the main sec hand won't reset to 12. Only 12:03... not between 1 or 2, I searched, not sure how to get it reset to perfect 12???

Can i just open it up and remove the hand then re-install it to 12 position, will that correct the problem?

It will correct it for now, but the long term fix is to glue the hand to the hand tube, this is where most of the slippage occures.

Also, only reset between 10-2 on the dial face, or you risk it going out of place again.

Thanks The Zigmeister, I have returned the watch back to the dealer to get a replacement... didn't want to mess with it myself.
