pv007 Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 I don't know beside rotor decoration, serial number engraved, what's new in this new version ... http://www.perfectclones88.com/0195-p-2989.html Hoppefully a new movement !
Corgi Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 28,800 BPH movement is already available on certain daytonas. Its not updated in the description though (except for some like the 328$ TT) so your best bet would be to email Josh and ask yourself. The new movement still uses transfer gears and I hear that although much improved is still very troublesome. I assume that is a new movement.
pv007 Posted June 14, 2007 Author Report Posted June 14, 2007 sad... sad... perhaps one day we will have a very good movement for these models ....
vlaletom Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 apparently the only new thing is a the deco on the rotor .. pointless ... who is going to brag about the asian 7750 in there Daytona pffff... I doubt wee will get a second at 6 movement soon, if they made a native 7753 design that would be a good strat ... and much more usable in many other reps. JLC's have seconds at 6 too tough, but it's certainly not draining enough market for the rep industry.

Yeah, I think you're right...Anyone getting their hopes up for a good post 2000 Daytona is in for a long wait. The repmakers certainly aren't motivated since I doubt anybody is saying, "Oh sh**, thaose second @ 6 daytona rep suck, I better buy a gen." They're buying different reps. I doubt we'll even see a native 7753--not even ETA is making those anymore--and the seconds @ 6 movements al la Rolex and JLC and zenith are as unreppable as any movement out there.
