Crown/stem Mishap

Recommended Posts

I have a JosNana gold GMT2Master that I was having some problems with. The little round gasket that usually sits around the crown stem somehow got up under the crown and was keeping the crown from screwing down all the way. Well I was trying to fish it out of there and the way I was holding the watch, I ended up pulling the crown too hard and the whole crown/stem assembly came out of the watch. I can put it back in, but it doesn't seem to "grab" anything, and I can only adjust the GMT hand and date wheel or wind the watch. It goes like this: first click;watch will wind; second click; GMT or date wheel adjust; No 3rd click though. The whole crown and stem assembly then just pulls out of the watch again.

Is there any way I can get it back in and seated correctly keeping in mind I essentially know nothing about watch repair, or is it something that would require a pro?

Thanks in advance.
