jkerouac
I just read the headline that Michael Rasmussen has been kicked off his team and out of the Tour de France. It's really sad for the rest of the riders and for the sport of cycling that this year's tour has become a perverse farce. Unbelievable.
Cucumber_Jones
Yup it is a cluster fcuk! Vino booted yesterday.
dluddy
Perhaps Barry Bonds could have a chance next year Sad day for a classic sport and one of the most respected sporting events in the world. Time for the teams and sponsors to cowboy up and make it more risky to dope. I think Vino's team did what they had to do. Rasmussen's team did the right thing for the sport, albeit a little late. They knew he missed whereabouts before the start. Why wait until he has almost won the legendary race to suddenly "care"?
FasTTaP
The Festina team quit the Tour yesterday, nobody here (in France) believes this crap anymore
murphym
The Festina team quit the Tour yesterday, nobody here (in France) believes this crap anymore Your rider Moreni was nailed, so Team Cofidis was kicked out. Team Festina has not been around after 1998. The 1998 Tour de France, also dubbed the Tour de Dopage (Tour of Doping), was marred by doping scandals throughout, starting with the arrest of Willy Voet, a soigneur in the French Festina team.
