I was told today by a customer that their watchmaker said I had sold them 2 fake longines watches. I was upset to the point of asking for proof-although I have been tinkering with and selling watches online for a couple of years I have never before been called a fraudster - can someone tell me how to spot a fake Longines, so I know what the hell I am talking about

Some reps are so good that you do have to open it up to see.

I had a gen opened once and my jeweler said it was a fake. He was wrong. He was thrown that inside the case back read China on an ESQ Minx. He said Movado would not do that. Well they do for ESQ.

I met a watchseller in the mall that took a replica Tag in trade in error. So even an expert can be wrong.

There are lots of Longines dealers... all over the place even in my hick town.

Just get a second opinion from another AD.

Incidentaly there are bucketfulls of very passable Longines reps out there
