wannab
I know this is a noob question and I did a search looking for the answer. Why the different sizes on the bands? I see some are 16mm, 19mm, etc, etc. For example you have a "noob"mariner and you take the bracelet off can you put any old band on?
dluddy
The strap size has two components. 1. measure the space between the lugs where the springbars go in. This will usually be the larger of the two (unless you are looking at an historic Panerai cut strap) 2. Measure the same space between the buckle where is attaches to the strap. This is usually smaller than the above due to the strap taper. hope that helps FYI, a Noobmariner will have a 20MM lug size.
