archibald
I just got back from a flea market with a 2893-2 movement I bought for $20. It appears to be working but I'm fairly certain there are a couple of parts missing--on the dial side @ about 10:00 there's a circular cutaway, apparently for a gear, that's empty and there's also a tab protruding from the bottom of the small plate that covers the setting assembly which doesn't appear to be currently serving any purpose. My smith is out of town and I'd like to have the parts ready for him when he returns so I can have him pop this movement into my 2836 PAM 063. (I have the hands from my 2893 029 I swapped for gen hands). If anyone can post a best-fit or other diagram, I'd be much obliged! Thanks... Watchmeister
Arch- Even I knew that one. But seriously, I don't know how you find all those movements 2893, El Primero... all for low low prices.

sssurfer
Thanks, repaustria. Just, I considered that the link I posted is freely available, while the doc from eta.ch is available only upon registration (to me at least).
