Gen bezel on smp chrono 7750 Asian

Hi folks,

Has anyone replaced the bezel of the perfect SMP chrono with a gen?

I manage to buy one from Ofrei.

I' ve already replace sapphire and crown by gens found on Ebay.

I've also ordered a gen dial.

Some help or topic link should be appreciated.

My gen bezel should arrive soon from Ofrei, is there a diff on the sapphire? I thought it was the same. Where did you get the gen dial from?

I've found the gen dial on Ebay too, there is another one this week, check it but I'm not sure this one is geniune.

There is also a geniune SMP caseback.

The glass seems to be 1mm thick than the rep but looks pretty good.

I just got SMP chrono from other member for AR, this thing look so close to gen. i owned one and the only difference is in a pearl and maybe engraving on a caseback is not identical but it is so close that i can't imagine what Guys in Omega factory think about the whole rep thing now.....

You're damn right, this is really a super rep.

I agree about the pearl too, but we've seen much worse.

Finally I've only changed crystal and insert, I left the bezel with the scratches of my bike accident.

Looks now like an adventure watch with stories engraved on it, I like it .

I think the insert I used is the best aftermarket one, the pearl is perfectly centered in the triangle, I just did a slight push on the pearl in the ring for a perfect finish.
