sub1 Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 I have a PAM 243 Submersible and the bezel slides as it rotates, does not click, was wondering if anyone knows how to remove and fix. Thanks, Sub1.
sssurfer Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 Maybe it lacks a small pin+spring ensemble that should stay below the bezel, in a small hole of the case. You should try removing the bezel and check. Be cautious: if the pin and spring are there, the spring uses to throw the pin into 4th dimension as soon as you remove the bezel. To remove the bezel, a watchsmith knife is the best tool in my experience*. Place its edge between the bezel and case, and make lever action. At least, this works on Omega bezels. *Too thin blades will chip.
