Talipse Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Hello, I am new to replica watches and RWG. After doing some reading I would like to start working on my own watches. I did a search for "Tools" and was able to find an excellent thread on a "Pin removal" tool from Turtle Creations, I have one on order now. I would like some recommendations on what and where other quality tools can be purchased. I would also like to know what "basic" tools I will need. I know I will need a case back removal tool, but what kind as there are so many? Screwdriver set but again, what kind? as I have found lots of cheap ones on ebay. I apologize if this has been covered before but I did not find it when I searched through this forum. Thanks,
Guest watchbuff Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Good luck to you. Try here I got alot of stuff from here.
HauteHippie Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 I'll be the first to say avoid cheap knockoff tools from rep dealers and EBay. My suggestion would be to look at the Time Zone Watch School tool kits (http://www.tztoolshop.com/FB_Catalog_TZWS-toolkits.html) for a good starting point. It's mostly Bergeon stuff, which is good. For good screw drivers, I think the Horotec stuff might be a step up, but pricey. The Zigmeisterzumba will probably make some suggestions for you in this thread, and he's one to listen to.
