Hi,

can anybody tell me if this 3D model looks as any real watch?

Perhaps a Breitling?...

Probably it's just similar and it's not made well detailed and accurate.

I'm searching for a good 3D watch model, as I would like to make an animation for my website.

Any tips on where I could find one?

Thanks! :)

I'm sure I've got a fantasy watch model in StudioTools - it depends on what format you're after (Alias doesn't import into Max very well, and shading information will be lost). The other alternative is to download a free model from Google Warehouse, use the Sketchup trial to open it and export it as an .obj file for rendering in a better program. There are plenty of high-quality Seiko models there if that takes your fancy!

Hi Rmcsherry,

thank you for your tip.

I'm downloading sketch up to be able opening a couple of models I downloaded.

I hopefully will manage to convert them to OBJ.

If I will succeed, I will let you know.

Thanks again,

This watch looks like a Breitling Avenger Seawolf.

It's an 'affordable' model with a retail of $2,695. The movement is Breitling Caliber 44 (base ETA 2892-A2)

44mm case.

Certainly the model needs some more details but it is quite an accurate homage thus far.
