robj
And raiding Nah Piek would acheive what exactly????? He carries f**k all in the way of stock on the premises, save for half a dozen cheap Silbersteins and a few no names in his display....(all throwaways). . Thats the only way he could do it. But if you read Pugwash's reply anyone that didn't know would thing that you can just walk around and buy replicas with impunity and no one does anything about it. You know thats not correct and if you ask about in Pattaya loads of westerners have been nicked lately with the copy and the steroids etc. At the moment copy items seem to be the flavour of the month
Watchmeister
For all the reasons above even if I were visiting I would still be inclined to buy from a dealer here than the stall there. I assume that when an individual walks in to buy something they will be taken advantage of either in terms of quality or price. The dealer has an ongoing relationship and there is a price to be paid in terms of lost business if he is taken advantage of. We are a one-time buyer.
