paneristi050
I had the opportunity recently to compare my PAM050 replica with a gen and I was surprised at how much deeper the dial seems to be set under the crystal on the rep. I found another post on this forum that mentioned the same thing but the discussion continued on in another direction without addressing it further. Is this typical for reps, or is this watch replica now available with the dial positioned right under the crystal? Or is this an optical illusion of viewing the dial through two different crystals? It seems like a bigger tell even than the cannon pinion or the low-horizontal A's now that I see the difference. Thanks for any feedback- learning a lot from catching up on the posts here. milsub5517
the are different replicas coming from different factories. also PAM models are different. there are a few threads here comparing rep and gen side by side, differences are very minimal for a few models (black seal , 112 for instance), i never heard of problem with dial depth.. there are also cheap $90 reps, but thats a different story I had the opportunity recently to compare my PAM050 replica with a gen and I was surprised at how much deeper the dial seems to be set under the crystal on the rep.
