rogerthat
I import a couple of products per year from China, why does method matter. Air shipment via FedEx, Seaport, etc... Tax rate for importing will depnd on what the product is, some products are taxed much different than others. For example this fall I shipped in 10,000 plastic puzzles that were taxed $0 becuase the US goverment has declared there is no local competition for this item so it is duty free. Could be 10%, 20%, all depends on what they have predetermined for the product and the product's materials. You should be able to find out the item code and get the information based on that from FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc... Cheers, M
