vlydog Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Actually It is not GRAINY:::Because of the sharpen effect of Picasa.. Pls check the first pict. @panera Thank you for posting this comparison. Question: On the double AR'd model it appears that the pinnon heads on the sub dials are brass colored but on the other watch they appear to be black. Is this just the affect from the photograph? Thanks
panera Posted April 2, 2008 Author Report Posted April 2, 2008 No they are really black But should be Brass color????OR steel white???? Who Knows
piratedzeus Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I am not talking about grainy photos but about grainy dials.
panera Posted April 2, 2008 Author Report Posted April 2, 2008 looks some grainy not so much but.....Yes a little bit
LordRasta Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Double AR is like HDTV. You can't hide the imperfections. I'm not saying this watch has imperfections, just saying that double AR brings out the dial so vividly, so good thing reps have improved over the last 3-4 years. This would of been a total disaster back in the day when reps were real $hitty.
panera Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 I think It is just a cosmetic issue or let say make up
scoobs1971 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 I am not talking about grainy photos but about grainy dials. This is mine with double AR from K222: The rep has some grain in the dial. However, when I had a gen on my wrist at the AD I can't remember that it had the same grain as the pic you posted. Hmmm, maybe I need to check it out again or maybe there are slight differences in gens - like some people have reported to have seen both brass and silver pinions..... And as a reference here's a nice gen pic. @Panera: thanks for the comparison pics!
