Does anyone know how long a package sent registered mail, via Deutsche post, take for delivery to the US?

Registered mail can take up to 5 or more weeks (groundshipping / and via ship).

Registered airmail might take 5 business days.

If reg. air you will get/have a track number that works on the website of Deutsche Post but will only be trackable via customer service center (speak to them in Frankfurt).....but with the German number (beginning RF.......DE) you can call USPS and they should give you an US track number once the package hits the US boarder.

I just visited the usps web page for track and confirm. This was the message there:

Status: Origin Post is Preparing Shipment

We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece.

The item was purchased on Friday last week.
