The quest for a better 090 case

Many 090 fans are bothered by the quick-date-change pusher on the side of the 090, that makes for an instant rep callout.

Unfortunately no good replacement case has been found so far, as the 090 movement is thicker than almost any other movements.

Almost.

It came to my mind that the 7750 is even thicker, so that there is a very good chance that a case made to host a 7750 may be the holy grail we are looking for.

If this is true, the only left issue would be the aligment of the stem with the crown tube.

Unfortunately I have no 7750 rep case to try.

If anyone has both that case, a 090 to take its movement out, and a little watchsmith skills, he might give it a try.

Or, if anyone has a spare 7750 case to send me, I would do the rest.

I am also available to buy the case if the price is reasonable.

So, anyone with a broken 7750 PAM rep willing to give a contribution to a good cause? And perhaps getting a few bucks on doing that?
