By now iId go for the more minimalist one, black strap and no seconds...what do you think? Is it really worth 420$? How is the lume and the AR? Pictures will help my choice of course! vric Posted April 21, 2008 Report Share Posted April 21, 2008 (edited) I ordered parts from him to make my own watch (Dial, case, hands, strap.) The AR look to be single sided.. It's there, but it's not incredible. The Lume glow A LOT, but don't last very long.. Usual "Super lume".. Not The Zigmeister work, but definitely much better than rep. Is it worth $420 ? hard to say. For me, parts cost me under $200 and the swiss movement $120. I guess extra $100 for the work, quality control and some kind of insurance isn't much.. My dial had problem with alignment, so I'm waiting a replacement to complete my project..
