breukelen Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 (edited) I disassembled my Arktos 186 to blow a dust particle off of the dial. After reassembling it carefully, I've come to find that after I pull the crown out to adjust the time/date and then only when I push it back in, the dial/movement moves slightly as though it is not firmly seated in place. I suspect that the 3 screws/clips holding the movement/dial assembly in place are not holding it in firmly. I basically reversed the process of the disassembly step by step and it seems odd to me that the whole dial/movement moves a little bit, or that the retainer ring around the movement/dial rotates somewhat, only to be stopped by the inserted crown/stem. My question is, how do I properly reassemble the dial/movement so that it stays put?! Edited April 24, 2008 by breukelen
