Pam Newbie looking for advice

Hi Guys - first post here, and straight in the Panerai forum

Been reading around for some time, but I figure it's time to ask the advice of the experts!

I'm looking to choose a Pam, although as yet I'm undecided on a model so I'd like some recommendations. I'd like to have a date function if possible, and I prefer darker metal body (as opposed to shiny chrome).

Do you guys have any suggestions for which models and which dealers?

In terms of a dealer - I'm currently on vacation over in the States (florida) from the UK. I'm hoping I can get it delivered here from someone, and have it arrive before I leave in 2 weeks. Realistic?

Well, you are going to start off with your basic search. First, the case. You'll need a Ti or PVD case. Now, you want a date. A PW, Chrono, or GMT are were you'll have to look. Now, what size are you looking for, you'll need to choose between 40 or 44mm and don't forget dial color preference. Then the hunt begins. BTW, all the models you seek are automatic.
