I bought my gen TAG rubber strap on ebay from chronoswissprince, he has the right now for about $135, shipped CONUS. If you would like his contact information PM me and I will send you the details. I do not think he has posted the ones he just received on ebay yet. Although, I do not have a problem with the rep deployment clasp. If you can source a gen for a good price go for it. There are several recent posts about the rep vs gen rubber strap. Just look through the TAG section here, and at RG. Let me know if you have any questions that I can help with.
