Spoooooonz
This isn't watch related, but I think someone here might be able to help. I am working in a business project and need to get a significant number of parts put through a PVD process. I found a few companies in China offering PVD services, but having emailed 5 I have not had a single response. I've emailed suppliers in Europe too, no replies. Is this typical of how these companies operate? Can anyone recommend a company I can work with who will at least do me the courtesy of responding? Guest avitt
I think that you're discovering why PVD is 1) only available from a few sources, and 2) relatively expensive when it is available. Most of the coating companies make their money by dealing with large, industrial contracts, and discourage smaller volumes of business. They do so by being unresponsive (as you have found), or by providing quotations or minimum volume levels which are prohibitive.

Guest avitt
i am looking to get 1000 parts treated, with a steady stream to follow. Seems to me that you should be getting responses. I suggest that you contact coating companies in your own country. Try calling them, if email is not fruitful. Good luck.
