Removing bezel ring

A couple of days ago I posted a question about removing the bezel. Cheers to all those that responded.

What I'm actually wondering about is how to remove the ring with the numbers away form the bezel assembly itself.

I've just read The Zigmeister's great post on disassembling a Rolex, but I'm stumped

on how to remove the bezel ring. I've got the bezel assembly off, but how do

I pop the ring out?

The bezel ring is glued on to the bezel itself and from what I remember you need to "pry" it off the bezel. Use an extremely sharp knife to gently pry it off. It takes patience, but it shouldn't be too difficult. Good luck.
