Resizing hands for a Cortebert

Recommended Posts

My only decent local watchsmith has retired, and I'm stuck with Unitas hands to fit a Cortebert movement - does anybody know of anywhere I can send them to be resized? As far as I know, it's a straightforward job with a staking set. If any members have the facilities to do so, I've got at least 5 pairs of hands to fit a 47mm Panerai (blued, Fiddy style and vintage 3646 style) that they could have in exchange for their efforts! Any suggestions welcome.

my watchsmith in Germany just did it for me -

he could help.

cheers,

Frank

Thanks for the reply Frank, that sounds good. Is it a simple job? I've got 3 movements to install (including for friends) so it may be too time consuming for him to resize 6 seperate hands. If you are able to help, I'd be happy to cover all costs and be sure to find a few extra 'things' to help your projects! Cheers,

Ross
