Double AR, with a cyclop

When you have double AR, it is like the crystal disappears (have I read), but what about a crystal with a cyclop, will that disappear also? So you have magnification in "free air"???

And, does anyone know if one of Chieftangs cyclops fits a 40mm PAM048?
