Spy
Hi all, I have just received a beautiful di modell rallye strap for my Carrera (thanks to Tom Hawkes recommendation in another thread) I tried to remove the bracelet on the Carrera but can't seem to get it off. How does it come off ? I have a spring bar tool but it appears too big. Do I need a smaller spring bar tool or something else ? Help appreciated, thanks
fakemaster
Those openings are mighty small. I have to keep a separate tool around. Try using a blunt ended screwdriver.

Spy
OK guys, I tried removing the spring bar using a small screwdriver I use for my Panerai. For the life of me, I cannot seem to get the bar to budge !!! When I move the center bar, it just shifts to the other side - Ggrrrrr Any other advice ? fakemaster
Almost sounds like someone either used too short a bar or an incorrct one meaning not a springbar.
