Breitling brown dials

I was at an AD in Aachen (DE) and Maastricht (NL) last week and I was astonished by the brown dials.

It comes to my attention that you don't see much brown dials here, are they that bad or just not popular? Looking at this topic: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...23&hl=brown it seems quite right.

Can someone please tell me if the brown dial of the repped Breitling for Bentley 6.75 is "accurate"? I really want one, but I would like to know if it has that somewhat metallic look like the one in the link above and not just plain painted brown.
