Watch knowledge

I have tried to find a watch school in my local area. None exists. All the local watchmakers have learned from a mentor, usually a close family member. Is there a school on the East Coast of the US ? I would like a to learn with hands on supervision. Time Zone pictorials

lack something. How did you gain your watch knowledge? I feel very lacking. Especially compared to so many RWG members.

Nicolas G Hayek School of Watchmaking is in New Jersey. Pretty small and hard to get into I'm sure.
