Any tips on how to make a Nato strap look like 20 years old? Boiling it? Putting it in a washing machine?

Thru the washing machine will definitely work. Just put it into the pocket of a pair of jeans, for example, when you wash them.

This way the strap won't get lost or screw up the machine.

Don't bleach it - it'll weaken the strap material.

I used mine as a key ring for 4 monthes, washed it a few times, and it did nothing... good luck but some of them are tough... washing did make it softer....
