Am thinking of getting one with orange bezel and also some gen parts to make it more gen-like. I am thinking the gen dial, hands, crystal, crown and possibly bezel. All these parts will not be cheap and was just wondeing if it will be worth it and also if maybe some may not needed. I was thinking of the bezel do I really need to change it to a gen bezel? Unfortunately they come as a package and you can't request one without the other. Regarding your other questions, it depends on how much you want to spend. I've sunk about $1,300 USD into mines. We cannot use the gen bezel but we can use the gen insert. Again you have to buy it as a package and your gen bezel becomes a very nice paperweight. The problem isn't with the insert, it's with the pearl and the position of the pearl on the insert. No you cannot buy an insert without buying the bezel. Omega packages them together.
