088 power reserve issues!

Hi all, this is my first post here. I recently accuired a great Pam088 GMT rep that i swapped+cash for an omega rep.

Since then been reading alot here learning about Panerais, and really enjoying it.

Thing is she works fine when im wearing her all day including accurate GMT movement, but when i take it off at night

it seems to stop halfway through the night as if it ran out fo gas. When i wear it in the morning again it starts beating fine again.

This is a pain as i need to reset the time every morning.

If anyone can shed some light on this would be greatley appreciated.

it seems that it needs to be taken to a watch repairer (watchsmith)

I had a similar problem. Try to manually wind it (6-7 winds) and see if it will keep the power reserve.

Thanks for the replys. Although i did try manual winding before bed time but it was to no avail.

Guess i will just continue to reset the time every morning for now.
