Ok here is the deal, I have a Big Pilot on the way and went to an AD for a gen strap (the nice brown buffalo one.)

Also I have a gen deployant which I had gold plated a few years ago to match my watch. Now I would like to use it for the BP so the gold has to be removed.

I understand that a Dremel would do the trick but since I

Hi Sander,

I have a unused SSteel deployment and will take your yellow gold plated in. As I live also in the Netherlands it will not take that much in shipping. Let me know. Zwijn

Thanks for the offer Zwijn but I already used the Dremel to give it a polish job.

It turned out really nice I think.

Just wear it a while. That should take care of it. ;)

ha ha,

Well the funny thing is that I hat it done about 4 years ago and there were still no signs of wear on it.

The only problem was the part that is in contact with the wrist. After a while it started to chip a little. Some kind of reaction with sweat??

All the visible parts were still as new.

Anyway, the problem is solved!
