JimmyT
G'day all, I'm still looking for a 24mm S/S Mesh band for a SOH 46 like the one in the picture (which is a Gen) I think it looks stunning. The guy who owns the Gen watch in the pic has a similar size wrist and it almost fitted perfectly and he still had some links left to adjust. Tried Lonestar and a few others but they appear not able to be down-sized to my kinda slim 7" wrist. Have any of you guys heard on anyone meking Rep Meshies like this one? sbh718
http://www.jurgensusa.com/Shop/ I bought a 24 mm "Monster" mesh bracelet from Jurgen USA for my rep SOH Blue Dial and think it is a great mesh bracelet. Jurgens sells one in a 140-160mm size, which will fit you fine. Only problem is that when I tried to order a second one recently, their US Distributor told me that he wouldn't have any 24mm bracelets in until Christmas. If you can wait, they are the only ones I know who will sell the shorter length mesh. Walt at LonestarWatches is the sole US distributor for Staib, which makes a slightly thinner (I think 3.5 mm as opposed to Jurgens 4 mm) 150-170mm bracelet--I have one on order but for some reason they are hard to keep in stock in the US. The SOH and similar watches are big, but my wrist is about 7 1/4 " and the correct band length for me was 155mm, so the Staib that Walt sells still might fit. Otherwise you will have to wait until Jurgens USA gets the shorter band in stock. Great band, BTW, almost as thick as the gen and a very, very nice look on the SOH. JimmyT
Thanks a ton sbh, I got onto Nate at Jurgens and here's what he sent me back and I quote: "Thanks for your interest! The mesh bracelets are sized to fit a 7.5 to 7.75 inch wrist. They only have about an inch of adjustment overall. We can custom make them to fit almost any wrist, but there is a custom order fee and a longer wait for order fulfillment. Can this work for you? Thanks and best! Nate" end quote. He didn't mention the 140-160mm size that you mentioned in your reply. I think that would be the one to go for and it'd save me the surcharge of a custom made bracelet. As for the wait until Christmas I can handle that. My wrist is only around 6.3/4" or so. Do you think that would do the job on a SOH? Oh by the way could you maybe drop me a line with the measurement of the actual SOH from top to bottom from lug hole to lug hole if you know what I mean. That'll give me a really good idea as to the length band I'll need. Looking at the site these are the best bands I've seen and I really appreciate your answer to my Q. I'll keep you posted as to what transpires. Cheers Jim Edited October 23, 2008 by JimmyT
